Wow, what a week! Our Zazmic team recently returned from the Google Cloud Next event in Las Vegas, and let’s just say our heads are still buzzing with all the incredible tech, insights, and connections we made.

Google Cloud Next is always a highlight of the year for anyone working closely with Google Cloud, and this year was no different. Google pulled back the curtain on their latest innovations, especially in the world of AI and cloud technology, and Zazmic was right there in the thick of it, with a fantastic group from our team actively participating and soaking it all in. We were excited to see what Google had in store and how it aligns with the work we do for our clients every single day.
So, let’s dive into some of the key moments and major announcements that caught our attention!
Day by Day: The Next ’25 Experience Unpacked
Day 1: Kicking Off with a Spectacle
Right from the start, Next ’25 set a new standard. The partner-inclusive event at the Sphere was absolutely unforgettable. Seriously, hands-down the most impactful moment. The way they used immersive AI and advanced technology during the showcase wasn’t just impressive – it was one of the most exciting things we’ve ever seen at the Google Next event. It set the tone for what’s coming next in tech.

Google Cloud Next keynote also brought some major news for the engine room of AI straight from Day 1. Google unveiled their seventh-generation TPU (Tensor Processing Unit), code-named Ironwood. TPUs like this one are built specifically for AI tasks, and Ironwood is a significant step forward, delivering up to a mind-blowing 42.5 exaflops of processing power. This means faster, more efficient performance for all those cutting-edge generative AI applications we’re seeing and building. More power equals more possibilities!
Day 2: Building Smarter AI Agents

Day two shifted the focus to giving developers the tools to build the next generation of AI. Google introduced the Agent Development Kit (ADK), Agent Engine, and Agentspace. These tools are designed to empower developers to create and manage AI agents that can now collaborate to achieve complex tasks. It’s all about making AI more capable and easier to integrate into real-world applications.
Day 3: The Magic of AI in Entertainment
The final official day brought another jaw-dropping demonstration of AI’s creative potential. The immersive, AI-powered 16K recreation of “The Wizard of Oz” at The Sphere in Las Vegas was just incredible. This project, a collaboration between Google DeepMind, Google Cloud, and Sphere Entertainment, showcased how AI can transform creative experiences and storytelling on a massive scale. It was a brilliant example of the convergence of AI and the entertainment industry.

Our Clients in the Spotlight
One of the absolute biggest highlights for our team across Day 2 and Day 3 was seeing our amazing clients present! DriveHealth, Newsweek, Altumatim, and Moii.ai all took the stage in various sessions, sharing their stories and showcasing the real-world impact we’re making together using Google Cloud technologies.
Seeing their success highlighted on such a large stage was incredibly energizing and validated the partnerships we’ve built. There’s nothing like seeing the fruits of collaboration on a global stage!
Our Team’s Takeaways: Standout Moments of Google Cloud Next
Walking the floors, attending sessions, and chatting with Googlers and other partners, certain things really grabbed our attention. Here are some that left a lasting impression on our team.

Standout Demos and Presentations
The AI-Driven Experiences at the Sphere
As mentioned, these really stole the show. Combining massive, immersive visuals with real-time AI felt truly groundbreaking. It made the technology feel not just futuristic, but tangible and relevant now. It was a bold reminder of just how quickly things are evolving.
AI Basketball
This was a fun, interactive demo that used Gemini to provide real-time feedback on participants’ shooting techniques. You’d shoot, and Gemini would analyze your form, offer personalized tips, and give you a score. A cool way to see AI providing instant, personalized coaching.
Veo Studios
This demo showed how Google’s image and video generation models could transform simple sketches into highly detailed visuals. It was a fascinating demonstration of how far creative AI has come.

Dial an App
What if you could talk to an AI and it helped you build an app prototype just by describing what you want? This demo showed an AI agent helping users generate functional HTML/CSS/JavaScript prototypes through conversation. It highlighted the potential of AI to dramatically speed up application development.

Speakers and Keynotes
While there were many impactful speakers throughout Google Cloud Next, a couple of key voices and themes stood out. Some of the main keynote segments featured exciting announcements specifically around Vertex AI and Duet AI, showing how Google is making AI more powerful and easier to use for businesses.
Google and Alphabet’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, naturally drew a lot of attention. His keynote focused heavily on the advancements in AI infrastructure, particularly highlighting the introduction of the new Ironwood TPUs as a foundation for future AI capabilities.
The CEO of Google Cloud, Thomas Kurian, discussed the rapid adoption of Gemini and Vertex AI. He really underscored how businesses are leveraging the Google Cloud platform for their AI development and deployment needs.
So What’s Next? Event’s Major Announcements and Tech Updates
Google Cloud Next ’25 was packed with major announcements. Here’s a rundown of some that we believe will have the most impact.

AI Hypercomputer
The introduction of Ironwood, a 7th-generation TPU, promises unparalleled performance for demanding AI workloads.
Cloud WAN
A new service designed to connect all of an organization’s infrastructure, applications, and employees globally with improved network performance and potentially lower costs.
Gemini 2.5 Flash & Pro on Vertex AI
The next generation of Gemini models, known for their enhanced reasoning capabilities, are now available on Vertex AI, giving developers even more powerful models to work with.
Generative AI Media Models (Veo 2.0, Lyria, Chirp 3)
Google is expanding its suite of models for generating creative content. Veo 2.0 (video) and Chirp 3 (audio generation and understanding) are publicly available, and they announced Lyria, a new music generation model.
Google Agentspace
This is your hub for finding and using AI agents. They’re now offering Google expert agents (like Idea Generation and Deep Research), integrating with tools like NotebookLM and Chrome Enterprise, and providing an Agents gallery to help users find the right agent for their needs.
Agent Interoperability Protocol (Agent2Agent)
It’s a new open standard protocol designed to help different AI agents from different frameworks talk to each other. This aims to prevent fragmented systems and future-proof investments in agent technology.
Google Unified Security
This is a major step forward in combining cybersecurity and AI. Google Unified Security combines threat intelligence, security operations, cloud security, and secure browsing into one solution, all powered by AI.
Networking at Public House Happy Hour
It wasn’t all mainstage announcements and demos! Building relationships is key at events like this.

The final day was wrapped up beautifully with our Zazmic happy hour at Public House. We had a great turnout, with around 45–50 people joining us, including important Google stakeholders from both the MME and SMB teams, plus several of our valued clients. It was the perfect way to close out the event with meaningful conversations, deepen existing relationships, and spark new ones.
Another Milestone for Zazmic
Reflecting on the event, it’s clear that the Google Cloud Next conference this year wasn’t just a chance to see the future of AI; it was an opportunity for Zazmic to deepen relationships, showcase our work, and gain valuable exposure.
Our team of 10 had a great presence at the event, connecting with clients, Googlers, and industry leaders. We’re particularly excited about how Google Cloud’s advancements in AI are opening new doors for our work with clients in AI, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.

This year’s event has us even more excited about the future. With innovations like the Agent2Agent protocol and the expansion of Gemini models, we’re on the brink of some incredible breakthroughs.
We’re proud to be part of this journey with Google, and we can’t wait to see what 2025 holds for our clients and for Zazmic.
