Overview:

The Customer Engineer (CE) is a technical expert with a strong foundation in software development who partners with the sales team to drive the adoption of Google Cloud infrastructure and products, with a particular focus on Ai, Infrastructure & Security. This role demands a deep understanding of GCP and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into solutions that address customer needs.

The CE will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical guidance, resolving challenges, and ensuring customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Pre-sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify technical opportunities. Deliver technical presentations, demos, and proofs of concept to showcase the value of GCP solutions
  • Solution Design and Architecture: Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures on GCP
  • Implementation and Deployment: Guide clients through the implementation and deployment of GCP solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and successful onboarding
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered by clients during the implementation and operation of GCP solutions
  • Custom Development and Integration: Develop scripts, automation tools, or proof-of-concept applications to tailor GCP solutions to specific client needs
  • Customer Advocacy: Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their advocate within the organization and ensuring their technical needs are met
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay up-to-date on GCP technologies and best practices. Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and clients through training sessions and workshops

Required Experience:

  • Hands-on GCP Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience working directly with Google Cloud Platform, including designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Software Development Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.) and experience with software development lifecycle
  • Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, networking, storage, and security. Experience with other major cloud providers (AWS, Azure) is a plus
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
  • Customer-Facing Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and explain complex technical concepts in clear terms
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Sales Collaboration: Experience working closely with sales teams to support the sales cycle and drive technical closure.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • GCP Certifications: Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, or other relevant certifications.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in a customer-facing technical role within the IT or cloud industry.
  • Vertical Expertise: Knowledge of specific industries or verticals, such as finance, healthcare, or retail, can be an advantage.

    The Service Field Sales will work with other Zazmic’s leaders on expanding market share. The position is remote and the Service Field Sales could be located anywhere in the US.

    – Own and drive new enterprise logo acquisition and revenue growth

    – Manage new account with the Account Executive team.

    – Responsible for a smooth hand over new account to Account Executive team for delivery management and up sales

    – Maintain and manage a high-quality sales pipeline and accurate sales previsions

    – Hit quarterly and yearly profit and revenue targets.

    – Track sales KPIs

    – Promote an entrepreneur, hunting sales environment focused on increasing market share and continued brand recognition

    – Partner closely with marketing, customer success, account management, and the project management organization to provide and gather insights on customer requirements and to develop messaging surrounding the enterprise market.

    – Produce customer success documents and marketing materials

    – Identify business needs, develop customized solutions

    Required Qualifications:

    • You are an exceptional enterprise sales with a strong track record of delivering results in both large company and growth company environments
    • You have Experience selling I.T. Services/Consulting
    • You are a hunter at heart and you are hungry for results. You’re a sales who likes to get his/her hands dirty and like to jump into deals
    • Minimum of 3 years of I.T. Services/Consulting industry experience
    • Fluent English speaker, a second language will be a plus
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with strong relationship-building capabilities
    • Ability to communicate a company’s vision to the market.
    • Client-oriented mentality with meticulous attention to detail
    • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus

      As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Zazmic, you will be a dedicated resource and partner for our customer organizations. You will act as a trusted advisor, forging deep relationships with your customers and account teams, while maintaining an awareness of key events, needs,

      potential risks, and value drivers. By focusing on your customers’ business needs, you will help improve their overall technical and operational health, ensuring they maximize the value of their Zazmic projects. You will also be the main point of contact for major customer incidents, managing expectations and communications until resolution.

      This role will prioritize our service customers and aim to expand our coverage.

      Your proactive engagement will set customers up for success, requiring technical knowledge and close collaboration with internal and external teams to deliver a unified Zazmic experience.

      Your Impact:

      • Serve as the single point of accountability for customer experience, renewal, and expansion.
      • Cultivate and maintain stakeholder relationships with customers' IT and business executive leadership, sponsors, and decision-makers.
      • Assist customers in achieving their business goals and outcomes by coordinating necessary services.
      • Provide timely, proactive guidance based on customer interests.
      • Advise customers on the adoption of new features and identify potential challenges and risks.
      • Communicate the value of Zazmic, ensuring all stakeholders understand this value to support customer renewals.
      • Advocate for customers during the resolution of high-severity issues to ensure timely solutions.
      • Occasional travel to customer sites and availability for after-hours or weekend coverage may be required based on customer needs.

      Requirements:

      • At least 8 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Technical Customer Success, project leadership, Technology Consulting, Technology Solutions Development, Technical and/or Solutions Architecture.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence effectively at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level.
      • Ability to analyze technical concepts, translate them into business terms, and map business requirements into technical features.
      • Proficiency in explaining complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms and vice versa.
      • Knowledge of software development processes and design methodologies.
      • Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve customer needs or projects.
