About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our team as a Team Lead. In this role, you will offer technical leadership and drive the development of innovative healthcare applications. You’ll mentor and guide a talented team, cultivating a culture of collaboration and creativity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure products that positively impact patient care.

What you’ll do:

  • Technical Leadership: Define the technical vision and implement best practices for the Node.js development team, encouraging a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Team Management: Provide mentorship, guidance, and motivation to team members, fostering a positive and high-performing environment that helps them reach their full potential.
  • Hands-On Development: Actively participate in the development of complex features, ensuring high standards of code quality, maintainability, and efficiency.
  • Solution Architecture: Design robust, secure, and scalable application architectures on GCP, optimizing the use of the platform's capabilities.
  • Code Review: Perform detailed code reviews to uphold high standards and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously seek and implement process improvements to enhance the team's productivity and workflow efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth and timely product delivery.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on the latest Node.js trends and technologies, integrating cutting-edge solutions to enhance our applications.

What We Seek:

  • Extensive Experience: 5+ years as a Node.js developer with in-depth knowledge of Node.js fundamentals, frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS), and development best practices.
  • Proven Leadership: A track record of successfully leading and mentoring development teams, offering technical guidance and support.
  • Strong Database Knowledge: Expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases, along with experience in caching strategies and message queue systems.
  • Microservices Expertise: Skilled in designing and implementing microservices architectures and building RESTful APIs.
  • Testing Proficiency: Proficient in testing methodologies and frameworks, including unit and integration testing.
  • DevOps Familiarity: Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a passion for developing innovative solutions.

Bonus poins:

  • Experience in the healthtech industry.
  • Familiarity with LLM (Large Language Models) and AI technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Active contributions to open-source projects.
