Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and secure routers, switches, and firewalls in a multi-vendor environment.
• Support and troubleshoot local and geographically dispersed LAN/WAN networks, including VPNs and critical tunnels.
• Collaborate on network migration projects, including BGP and OSPF reconfigurations.
• Engineer solutions to expand network capacity, improve response times, and streamline operations.
• Monitor and analyze mission-critical networks and servers.
• Implement and maintain security management and application performance optimization solutions.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for service requests, including Move, Add, and Change (MAC) requests.
• Design, construct, test, and implement integrated network and hardware solutions.
• Support after-hours network administration, operations, and maintenance as needed.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of demonstrated experience engineering, implementing, and maintaining geographically dispersed networks.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including BGP, OSPF, and Cisco Firepower.
• Hands-on experience with software-defined networking (Cisco preferred).
• Proficiency with network security protocols and tools, including Cisco ISE.
• Familiarity with virtual infrastructure platforms such as VMware and Nutanix.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASA, ISR, and XE devices.
• Certifications: CCNP Enterprise or higher preferred; CCIE or CISSP highly valued.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Juniper networking technologies
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Splunk and SentinelOne
• Passed Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions (300-415 ENSDWI) exam
• Experience supporting networks with 1,000+ users
