We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails / Vue.js Developer to join our team. This role involves tackling challenging tasks, contributing innovative ideas, and collaborating with a skilled development team to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new features for web applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications, including refactoring, bug fixing, and migrating from legacy frameworks.
- Collaborate with the tech-support team to triage and resolve production issues.
- Work as part of a full-sized team on a daily, full-time basis.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and demos with the team.
- Brainstorm solutions for complex tasks, contributing creative and effective ideas.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience developing Ruby on Rails (RoR) web applications with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Good professional experience with Vue.js
- Excellent knowledge of MySQL, and ElasticSearch.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Expertise in delivering high-quality code with unit and integration tests.
- Advanced knowledge of scaling cloud-based applications
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and self-starter discipline.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing Finance and Accounting team. This role will be integral in the month-end and quarter-end close process, as well as assisting with audits and accounting operations.
The Senior Accountant will work closely with the bookkeeping team to ensure accurate financial reporting, assist in developing accounting policies and controls, and contribute to process improvements across the department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly and quarterly financial close activities, including payroll accounting, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
- Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Calculate and record bonus payments as required.
- Assist with monthly contractor invoice reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Support the review of journal entries and reconciliations completed by bookkeeping staff.
- Put in place and Prepare monthly financial reports for center leaders, including budget-to-actual financial analysis and other performance metrics.
- Assist with the budget and forecast process, ensuring alignment with anticipated expenditures.
- Produce schedules and reconciliations for the annual audit and tax return preparation.
- Calculate and process sales and use tax payments for all entities on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with center leaders and the management team to review and discuss practice performance related to monthly financial results.
- Ensure the confidentiality of financial information in compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and special projects.
- Handle additional accounting tasks or bookkeeping tasks as needed.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for Software engineering company experience
- QuickBooks expirience
- QuickBooks certification will be a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls (SOX experience is a plus).
