ServiceNow Technical Architect – LATAM ONLY

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design: Define the overall technical architecture for the ServiceNow platform, including integrations, data models, security, and performance optimization.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to ServiceNow administrators and developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
• Platform Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of the ServiceNow platform roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and technology trends.
• Integration Design: Architect and oversee the design and implementation of integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
• Performance & Scalability: Ensure the ServiceNow platform is performant, scalable, and highly available to meet the growing demands of the business.
• Security & Governance: Define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for the ServiceNow platform. Participate in audits and ensure compliance.
• Best Practices & Standards: Establish and maintain ServiceNow development standards, best practices, and documentation.
• Technical Problem Solving: Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex ServiceNow issues.
• Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and emerging technologies, and provide recommendations for adoption.
• Collaboration & Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful ServiceNow solutions.
• Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of technical excellence within the ServiceNow team.
• Release Management: Provide technical oversight for ServiceNow upgrades and patch management.

Desired Professional Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow solutions.
• Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform architecture, modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, GRC, SecOps, SPM), and underlying technologies.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex integrations using REST, SOAP, and other integration methods.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, GlideScript), workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
• Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal development and customization.
• Solid understanding of the ITIL framework and its application within ServiceNow.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
• Experience with database design and data modeling principles.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in one or more modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
• Experience with performance testing and optimization of ServiceNow instances
