The Customer Engineer role is responsible for supporting account managers and sales motions by providing technical support, researching customer questions/requests, providing technical guidance at a high level, and drafting SOWs for funding requests on behalf of customers. A quality candidate for this position will embody the highest level of soft skills and customer service for our customers during sales engagements, and have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the entire GCP ecosystem. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing Finance and Accounting team. This role will be integral in the month-end and quarter-end close process, as well as assisting with audits and accounting operations.
The Senior Accountant will work closely with the bookkeeping team to ensure accurate financial reporting, assist in developing accounting policies and controls, and contribute to process improvements across the department.

- Assist with the budget and forecast process, ensuring alignment with anticipated expenditures.
- Produce schedules and reconciliations for the annual audit and tax return preparation.
- Calculate and process sales and use tax payments for all entities on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with center leaders and the management team to review and discuss practice performance related to monthly financial results.
- Ensure the confidentiality of financial information in compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and special projects.
- Handle additional accounting tasks or bookkeeping tasks as needed.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for Software engineering company experience
- QuickBooks expirience
- QuickBooks certification will be a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls (SOX experience is a plus).
